Campaign Story

Hi Everyone, my name is Adrianna.
Let me start by saying I know everyone has a story and everyone has struggles so I don’t want to take away from anyone that is struggling with infertility.
It’s been one of the worst things I have ever dealt with and I want to empathize with everyone on here.
For starters my husbands name is Robert and we officially met in 2005 at the time neither of us had any intention of being with each other, we just so happened to be at the same place at the same time with our friends. We were introduced to each other but nothing came of it at that time, fast forward to 2013, our mutual friends were going for dinner and the both of us were Invited and one sparks flew that night and we eventually started dating and married August 4,2019.
I was married previously and had three amazing children 2 girls and a boy. Robert had never been married nor had any children so Robert took them all under his wing and has been the most amazing step dad to our wonderful kids.
The thought of having more children never crossed our minds, our main focus was our three.
One day we discussed having children of our own, and decided we would embark on that journey. After having my last child I tied my tubes to prevent further pregnancy, so we knew if we wanted a child of our own we would have to either do IVF or a tubal reversal after lots of research we decided to do the tubal reversal. This is were we hit a few road blocks….. Dr. Reed my fertility doctor requested I get a check up by my OBGYN to make sure everything was good to proceed Into surgery. Everything wasn’t ok, after having my papsmear my doctor found cancer cells in my cervix which had to be removed, so I had a Conization which removed part of my cervix. Multiple appointments later I was cleared for Tubal Reversal Surgery. I had the surgery July 22nd 2020. After trying, being on fertility medication, work up after work up I found out Feb 18,2021 I was unable to conceive naturally and was told my only option was IVF. Feb 18th 2021 was my birthday and in Texas we were snowed in, I feel into a deep depression and found it difficult to pull myself out, my only strength was my kids and I knew I had to keep going for them. I have tried to move on with life but the one gift I’ve wanted to give my amazing husband is a child and with your help and generosity I pray to god that one day it will happen. God bless you all!
